The staircase had major humidity issues that caused the wall paint to peel off and rusted the iron cast rail. Once the dampness problems were solved, each corner from ceiling was lit to increase space. Grey circles wallpaper by echenike was applied to produce a retro and elegant environment. The baseboards were restored and varnished, the rail was enameled in anticorrosive black, and the Carrara marble was left like new after it was buffed. The lower part of the skirting boards of the wall received a stone grey paint to increase protection, durability and combines great with the wallpaper.
