The terrace had long been forgotten. It was a 538 sq. ft. clearly underestimated space in the heart of Palermo Soho in Buenos Aires. It was redesigned to look like a boat surface. The teka wood (specific for outdoors) was put together in curved shapes to create a sun deck. The mosaic-covered jacuzzi was embedded into and surrounded by teka. Cement flower-pot stands were placed on the periphery. The cement seats were constructed at a low level to create a chillout ambience and were covered in mosaic with custom-made cushions that can endure the weather outdoors. The winter chimney was covered with remains from the deck wood. The low lighting was entrenched in the benches to create a space for relaxation, that along with the points of light on each corner, heighten the space. The dual shower is a big eye made in mosaic with polarized glass to add privacy. The Saarinen tables are made with Carrara marble, Pastille chair in fiberglass. Landscaping was done using papyrus, equisetum, bamboo, thuja and aloe vera.
